Who I am

I help you prepare for a home purchase around Richmond.

I'm Kristin, a loan officer at CMS Mortgage Solutions. My focus is first-time buyers and VA loan education in Richmond and the surrounding counties of Henrico and Chesterfield. You can bring your questions before you have a house picked out.

I begin with your questions. Then I explain the documents, loan review, and decisions ahead. If something needs more research, I will tell you.

If you are a veteran or service member, I can help you explore the VA benefit you earned. If this is your first home, I can explain the buying steps from the beginning. If you need time to prepare, we can start there.

02

How I help

Four ways I can help you plan.

First-time buying in Richmond

I help you separate the home search from the loan steps. We can discuss your timeline, savings, and questions before you decide what to do next.

VA: the benefit you earnedVA education

I help veterans and service members understand VA loan questions, including service documentation and lender review. Educational content; not endorsed by or affiliated with any government agency; not a commitment to lend.

Get-ready coaching

I can help you gather documents, review credit questions, and understand pre-approval. You do not need to have everything organized before reaching out.

Richmond local

I help you think through buying in Richmond, Henrico, or Chesterfield. Bring your questions about the kind of home you want, the timing of a move, and the loan steps that go with it.

My guidance is educational and depends on a review of your situation. It is not a commitment to lend. VA, FHA, and USDA content is not endorsed by or affiliated with any government agency. Credit, income, and property requirements still apply.

How it works

A place to start, then a plan.

I explain each stage so you know what I need and why.

01
Tell me your plansI want to hear about your timeline and your questions. A first conversation can be just that.
02
Gather what mattersI explain which records are needed for your situation and how to send them securely. We review what is still missing.
03
Work through the reviewI explain requests as the loan moves through review. If more information is needed, I help you understand the next step.
